Ten TOHG members braved a heat advisory and thunderstorm warnings to kayak down the Westport River in Westport, MA on Friday, August 2nd. As it turned out, these were good decisions as there was enough of breeze and shade to keep the group comfortable. The Westport River is very scenic and the tides/currents minimal making it an enjoyable trip. The group gathered in the shade after the kayak to enjoy the camaraderie of fellow TOHG members and a picnic lunch.
