Enjoy some fall foliage around one of America's most historic landmarks--Walden Pond, in Concord.
The trail measures 1.7 miles of flat terrain around the pond. See a replica of Thoreau's house, and the site of the original one room structure.
Parking fee is $8.00.

Afterward, we'll head to "downtown" Concord for coffee at one of its quaint cafe's.

Directions; From Rt. 128, take exit 29, (Rt. 2 West.) Proceed along Rt. 2 appx.3 1/2 miles to Rt. 126 (Walden St.). Turn left (south) on Walden St. appx 1/2 miles to parking lot on left.
