Join Mary W. and Joe M. for a new and fun bike ride.
We will park at the far end of the parking lot, mount our bikes and explore the Garrison Trail over the Whittier, route 95 Bridge, to Amesbury Ma. Then, we will cross route 110, and take a left on the new Amesbury portion of the trail toward Amesbury center for a bit of exploring, about 3.5 miles from start. Upon return to route 110 from Amesbury, about 2 miles, we will cross the Rabbit road and ride the Salisbury Ghost Trail to its intersection with the new portion of the Marsh Trail which is under construction both to the left toward route 1 in Seabrook NH and to the right toward the completed portion of the Marsh Trail in Salisbury also about 2 miles. We will go as far as the bike pavement lets us. The Salisbury portion of the ghost trail is hard pack, but rideable with any type of bike.
