We will return to Sugarloaf Mountain Resort in Carrabassett Valley Maine, where we have previously enjoyed the large expanse of varied terrain on the third highest peak in Maine at 4,226 feet.

We’ll be staying at the Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel. With a design inspired by classic New England farmhouses, the Hotel evokes the warmth of a rustic mountain lodge with the convenience of a modern world-class resort. It’s located on the mountain, with walkable access to the main plaza and several ski lifts. The hotel amenities include ski-lockers, a 30-person outdoor hot tub, fitness center including a steam room and sauna.

All trails lead to the slope-side of Sugarloaf Alpine Village, which offers several restaurants and shops. In addition to alpine skiing, Sugarloaf also has The Outdoor Center, Maine’s largest Nordic center, for cross-country skiers just minutes from the base area. The lodge has a full Nordic retail shop, rental center, and café. The Sugarloaf Explorer Shuttle provides transportation to that area along its route.

And for non-skiers, the Anti-Gravity Complex run by the Recreation Department is home to indoor adventure with multiple sports and fitness activities (daily fees apply). Check it out at www.carrabassettvalley.org/departments/recreation-department/anti-gravity- complex/.

We have reserved 10 double rooms (Single upon request). All rooms include a wet bar, mini-fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee machine. The hotel serves breakfast and dinner in the highly rated on-site restaurant 45 North. We’ll be hosting daily après-ski get togethers with BYO snacks and beverages.

Downhill skiers are required to wear ski helmets on all club-sponsored trips.

Please register and pay for the trip online at tohg.org by November. 15, 2025, to reserve your spot. Payment is by credit card only. Note that each trip participant must register separately online.

Cancellations:

Cancellations may be made through December 1, 2025 without penalty (less a 3% processing fee). Cancellations after that date are not refundable unless a paid replacement can be found. Please see full Cancellation Policy on the TOHG website.
