Welcome Autumn by joining us as we bike from the MBTA commuter rail station in South Acton to Honey Pot Orchards in Stow. The trail includes both paved and dirt road portions as we traverse through Maynard, Hudson and the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge and finally end at Honey Pot Orchards in Stow where we can enjoy cold cider, cider donuts and perhaps even an apple.  There are also farm animals we can visit with.  And the Assabet River itself offers some beautiful views of the river and refuge.

This ride might be a bit of a challenge for some.  As we go through the Refuge we will be riding on a rough dirt road.  And the end of this trail just before we reach Honey Pot Orchards is a steep hill and you might prefer to walk your bike for this portion.  However, it's a great short downhill on the return!

There is on street parking at 19 Maple St. as well as a parking lot just past the commuter rail station around the corner from the trailhead.

Helmets are required. Pumped-up tires, and a spare inner tube are required, Bring a water bottle.
