Let's close out the season with this partly urban, partly suburban bike ride on The Northern Strand Community Trail This paved trail is about 10 miles long (20 miles round trip) which runs from Everett through Malden, Revere, Saugus and ends in Lynn.  The trail runs through urban areas of Everett and Malden, past community gardens and art sculptures as well as commercial and industrial buildings and then a more suburban ride with some wooded areas before crossing marshland into Saugus and Lynn. There are quite a few street crossings on this trail.  This ride is estimated to be about 3 to 3 1/2 hours long

We will meet in the parking lot at Costco, 2 Mystic View Rd., Everett.  Park at the end of Costco (to the right of front doors)  Look for my orange Subaru.

RIDE DESCRIPTION

Helmets are required. Tail light or blinker recommended.  Also, bring a spare tube and a water bottle.
